Abstract

This study examines the statistical significance of several physical parameters, such as pole height, pole distance, and wattage, on important photometric outputs, such as threshold increment (Ti), uniformity index (Ui), illuminance uniformity (Uo), and average luminance (Lav). The effects of these parameters under various configurations were assessed using a series of one-way ANOVA tests. The results show that wattage impacts Lav, while pole height has a substantial impact on Uo and Lav. Lav, Ui, Ti, are all determined in large part by pole distance. The findings offer important information about how to best design street lighting to meet photometric requirements while improving visibility and energy efficiency.
